Motiva SmoothSilk Ergonomix and Round Breast Implants

Motiva breast implants are now available in the United States. Motiva implants are manufactured in Costa Rica and are currently available world-wide. In 2017 Dr. Glicksman and the late Dr. Scott Spear developed the clinical trial that is currently underway across the United States. Detailed patient and device data were reviewed by the FDA to determine the safety and efficacy of these implants prior to them being FDA approved for use.

Dr. Glicksman is the Medical Director of the United States FDA Clinical trial the first US surgeon to use Motiva implants in 2018. She placed the first Motiva Implants in the United States in the 2018 and has followed all of her patients every year since then.

The FDA has approved the sale of Motiva breast implants for breast augmentation and revision breast augmentation in the United States, but they are not yet available for breast reconstruction. Dr. Caroline Glicksman was the first US surgeon to enroll patients in the Motiva 10-year pivotal study collecting data on breast augmentation, reconstruction and revision procedures.
