The LightSheer® Duet™ laser by Lumenis provides rapid success in hair removal for most skin and hair types. Skin resurfacing for fine and deep wrinkles and sun damage can be safely performed in Dr. Caroline Glicksman’s Sea Girt office. Dr. Glicksman has used lasers in her practice since 1992, and she evaluates every patient and performs all laser treatments herself. - Lyra® 1064 Nd:YAG laser by Laserscope was first cleared by the FDA in 1999. The Lyra® laser quickly and effectively treats vascular lesions and small veins of the face, body, and legs. This laser delivers energy to collapse the unwanted vessel with a cooled hand piece. It effectively eliminates spider veins and broken capillaries in both adults and children. The unique design makes this laser safe and effective on all skin types. The addition of a topical anesthetic cream permits the treatment of vascular lesions comfortably in the office.
